Public Transportation

Whether it’s commuting to work, getting to school, hitting the shopping malls or navigating the city, Tech Valley’s extensive network of public buses provide safe, reliable transportation at a reasonable cost. There are more than 20 transit providers in the region that service every city and throughout most counties.

Public transportation is readily available for the elderly, disabled and others who may not be able to drive or ride in a car. Some services extend into the more rural areas of the region.

Southern Tech Valley is also serviced by the Metro-North Railroad (MNR). With 15 stations throughout Dutchess and Orange counties, the MNR is a fast, convenient way to travel to New York City.
