Coaches Guide Please be sure to register your team with as well as register for the RPI & GE competition with FIRST. Registration for the event is limited so please register early.   On Sept. 10 a kickoff for all coaches and mentors will be held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. We strongly recommend you attend as we will be going through the challenge in detail. If you are interested in more information click here or e-mail Scott Price.   Teams will be sent a number of documents. Please read through them carefully. Release and Consent Form. One form for each student, coach and mentor. Release forms allow us to take pictures of the students during the competition. Without them, students will not be allowed to compete. Team Information Sheet. One form for each team. Completed "parts used" sheet or "NXT parts used" sheet for technical judging.  Tournament Layout. This is an opportunity for coaches to meet each other, and discuss concerns, share information and touch base before the tournament. The date, time and location will be determined and posted here.
