RPI Students to Re-Create Fulton's Voyage
Learn more at Robert Fulton's voyage, updated
Rensselaer students, using a hydrogen-powered boat, will attempt to re-create Robert Fulton's historic voyage up the Hudson River. The New Clermont will be powered by fuel cells from Plug Power Inc. as it takes the same journey from Manhattan to Albany as Fulton did in a steam-powered vessel 200 years ago.
