We don’t "take a vacation" from our fun here in Tech Valley. Winter, spring, summer and autumn all offer plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for every age and interest.

When the winter snow falls, you can hit the slopes and trails for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling; take to the frozen lakes and ponds for ice skating and fishing; or, head indoors for college and professional basketball and hockey.

When the snow and ice melt, and the green of spring reappears, hunting, fishing, golfing or taking in a flower or home show become popular.

As spring gives way to summer, the mountains are ideal for hiking, the lakes for swimming and the parks for picnicking. Enjoy an outdoor concert or county fair. Stroll though a village or town for antiquing or just to soak in the culture.

When autumn arrives, the apples are ripe for picking, the fall foliage is perfect for viewing and stadiums are filled with enthusiastic college and high school football fans.

Of course, our numerous museums, art galleries and historic sites offer year-round exhibits, events and programs to satisfy history buffs, art lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike.
