Biotechnology

Business Facilities magazine ranks New York number two on its list of top states for biotech growth.

New York scored well with the number of biotech incubators (including University at Albany's East Campus) and research parks, life sciences research and development expenditures and number of biological scientists in the workforce. The state also provides facilities financing, making it a popular home for bioscience establishments.
